UCRCC: Dudley Campaign Update

Dudley Campaign Update

With the ballot measure deadline tomorrow, we wanted to kick off this weeks campaign update with a reminder to drop off your ballot if you have not already! To find the closest location to you, click here.

Last week, Chris phone banked against Measures 66 & 67 in Tigard, West Linn, Salem and Hillsboro.  He met a lot of great people and even convinced a few voters to vote against the measures!  If you want to help the campaign and make some phone calls tonight please find a list of phone banks and coordinators here.

Check out Chris hitting the phones in Salem here.

On Wednesday, Oregon’s unemployment rate for December was released at 11%, once again increasing from the previous month.   Here is what Chris had to say about Oregon’s unemployment rate: “With over 209,000 Oregonians out of work and another month with a higher unemployment rate than the last, we cannot afford the same tired, stale, and partisan ideas of the past. Getting Oregonians back to work is my top priority and rebuilding our economic foundation starts by making it easier and more affordable to create and retain jobs in our state.”

If you haven’t had a chance to read the story in the Oregonian about the unemployment rate and Oregon’s struggles to create stable jobs, please click here. We need a Governor who will make jobs his #1 priority and has the innovation and determination to keep his promises. We need Chris Dudley.

Finally, if you haven’t already, we hope you will register to join Chris and his team at the Dorchester Conference in Seaside on March 5th- 7th.  Click here for information on how you can get register to attend this weekend event!

Thank you again for your continued support,

Team Dudley
