EOP: 1,000 calls needed!
We need to flood 1,000 calls/emails to Senator Peter Courtney’s Salem office in support of moving H. B. 4095 out of the Senate Ways and Means Committee.HB 4095 is a much needed Land Use Planning bill that will be the first step in eliminating our statewide land use planning and adopting regional plans to allow for local tailoring of land use prioritiesby the folks who live there . . . not people in far off lands across the mountains!
Sen. Courtney is purposefully bottling up this bill in his committee. It will die there. Governor Kitzhaber has indicated he will sign it if it gets to his desk.
Oregon needs jobs and the revenue generated by the 21st Century management of Oregon’s land and natural resources.
Call or email Senator Courtney now. Ask him to move HB 4095 to a vote and on to Governor Kitzhaber!
